Rant

Welcome to Jageritaville.com.  A state of mind, a state of intoxicatia.  Here, we do things different.  It's not a good weekend if at the end of it all someone doesn't need a splint, tetanus shot, or stitches, and if it's fun….then it's more fun naked.  Right now, this site is just a Way for me to show friends and family sights and sounds from our home on Andros Island, Bahamas.  But as I learn more and more about HTML, expect it to grow into something infinitely more annoying, and ugly.

Until then, be kind, let me know what's wrong with it/what I can do better, and enjoy the sights and sounds.  And if there's any of the above mentioned that you find anywhere from annoying, through irritating, all the way to completely offensive.  Not a lot I can do about it but tell you to get out more, and see some world.

Where the Hell are we?

Andros Island is roughly 180 miles to the South and to the East of West Palm Beach Florida, with Fresh Creek being almost due east of Key West.  We boast the best bonefishing on the planet as well as some of the best diving on the third largest barrier reef on Earth.  The island is around 100 miles long and roughly 30 miles at it's widest point.  The island is divided by three rivers (called bights) connecting east to west.  North bight, middle bight, and South bight.  Between north and middle bight lies Pot Cay, where the Bang Bang Club sits quietly alone in the middle of the vast mangrove swamp that is inner middle bight.  The West side of the island is vast and largely unexplored watch this site for updates on a proposed trip that myself and Charlie Noland hope to take from Salvatore Point west through the north bight, then North to Red Bays which is about 15 miles southwest from Morgans Bluff on the map to the top left.

Why the hell are we here?

As for most I can't really answer that.  Someone once said, we are all here, because we're not all there.  Really makes sense.  Me personally, I call this place 'The Island of Misfit Toys'.  Although there is a portion of the islands population are not happy, in my opinion, until they are completely miserable.  As for myself and Shelli, the images pages should show why we have stuck around here for 10 years.  As our experiences here grow, expect these pages to grow as well.  The audio and video pages links will be active as soon as I can hand carry the files to Florida (due to the fact that there's over a gig of content (video files are not small)).
